Our Home Away From Home
The Delta Delta Delta house was built in 1966. Our house has special character as it was designed by A. Hays Town, the famous American architect known for his work which was heavily influenced by the Spanish, French, and Creole history of Louisiana . Overlooking the picturesque LSU lakes, the Tri Delta House is located on 4070 West Lakeshore Drive. Fifty-four girls, predominately juniors and seniors, live in the house. The living quarters are known as the senior wing, double wing, and dungeon. There is a communal bathroom with a washer and dryer in each hall. The courtyard, which was renovated summer of 2015, is a favorite to all with its rocking chairs, swings, large fountain, and relaxing atmosphere. Other rooms in the house include the kitchen, the Delta café which always comes stocked with snacks, living room, a cozy room for studying or visiting with friends known as the pearl, computer room, president’s office, and chapter room. Each room of the Tri Delta house aids in the excellence of each of our members. Many rooms serve as a quiet study sanctuary to support academic success as well as comfortable rooms to make each member feel at home. The Tri Delta house staff is always working hard to keep our house looking beautiful, both inside and out. During the school year, the Tri Delta house hosts many events including philanthropy fundraisers, recruitment parties, initiations, retreats, and various panhellenic events. The Tri Delta house is the perfect place to spend time with sisters during your college years and make memories that last a lifetime.
